In the USA, Lexan ( polycarbonate ) is approved by the Department of Transportation for commercial bus windshields, which implies that at some thickness threshold that, it's robust enough for 4-seasons performance.
I would think that 1/8th-inch ( 3mm ) material would be adequate.

Besides motorcycles and racing cars, I don't remember having ever seen a polycarbonate windshield in Brazil. Yet some cheaper acrylic sheets are once in a while used as a makeshift...

'polycarbonate'

Stumbled across a Road & Track article about the 2021 McLaren 675LT, which uses polycarbonate for the rear windows.

When it comes to rear windows, seems like regulations are not so strict as they are regarding windshields and side windows.

Last push before the weather no longer permits further progress.

Currently building the rear wheel skirts. I allowed for a bigger gap relative to the tire in order to accomodate any potential snow buildup. Trying to figure out the best approach angle for the forward part of the skirt. I assume there would be a frontal area penalty but the overall drag should be reduced, thus negating such penalty.

Cheers.

For the leading edge, aerohead made a post in Aerodynamics about blisters and canopies; but Google is incompetent to show it.
