Those are notable eco-sandals, old and new at the same time, and spotted in the wild. Should be fine.

Saw a brand new Volt yesterday. Didn't realize it was redesigned? Then again I don't really follow the market.

I guess the lower weight due to the fiberglass body, and the 3.9L turbodiesel backed by a manual transmission (just can't remember if it's 4 or 5-speed), are enought for this Brazilian-made van named Ibiza and based in a 5th-gen Ford F-Series platform to be deemed somewhat eco in comparison to the Ford E-Series.

Ford Mondeo SW

Beetle with a weird soft-top conversion

Not sure if the Hyundai Tiburon would qualify as eco but, as it looks quite similar to the Ford ZX2, it might justify being considered eco.

S123 Merc 300TD

W124 300D

A lower-grade Diesel version of the Nissan Frontier D22 still fitted with the TD27 engine

Toyota HiAce originally RHD converted to LHD in Chile or Paraguay, currently registered in Paraguay

Mitsubishi Triton with a 4-cyl turbodiesel, manual transmission and wooden flatbed

Kombis

Peugeot Partner Origin

And this Opel Meriva, locally rebadged as a Chevy, serving as a medical car

Interesting last couple of days. Saw an Insight-I, and a Civic HX. I can't remember the last time I actually saw either of those. But then I also sighted a CRX HF. And I am almost positive I have never seen one of those before. Lastly, saw my first of the new Prii. It looks like it's one of those cars which photographs well, because it wasn't all that great in real life.

Here's a fun little car -- not really spotted in the "wild", but part of a private collection.

Not so bad for aerodynamics, but what it lacks in CD it makes up for in minimal frontal area.

Probably won't fare well in a collision with a pick-up truck or other monstrosities we see on the roads.

Another one from the private collection .....

The perfect spark for your kids to get them thinking about aerodynamics from a young age. Just let them know those fairings help them go faster!!

Sorry about the photo quality, lighting in there was not that good for taking photos. Enjoy.

That Messerschmitt Kabinenroller might not be the safest ride in an SUV-crowded land, but it does look cool.
