unicorn iMiev, Part 2
I saw the iMiev again. Based on where it was parked, I think I may know who owns it... well enough that I will ask for a tour/ride next time I see him.

Yesterday while I was walking in my neighborhood I saw a grey BMW i3. A few weeks ago I have seen an i8, coincidentally also grey.

Spotted a Subaru Sambar kei van this morning. I tried to snap a pic, but it was a blurry mess. I found this pic of the exact van:
It had advertising for a small, local company that sells imported parts for Japanese vehicles.

Those are great. The last of their class to be available with a rear engine. Sometimes I get me thinking about how cool would it be to slap the drivetrain of one into a sand-rail buggy

Someone had one parked right outside of my building last weekend. I was drooling. So beautiful!

Considering its size, weight, and the use of an off-the-shelf engine, it's still quite eco if you compare it to other cars designed with a similar purpose in mind. and let's suppose that a sole commuter had the chance to fit one with a wider-ratio transmission, it would be still more efficient than a regular compact car fitted with the very same drivetrain in the same operating scenario.
