1st moan - being at one of those 'events' where you get to 'meet' clients. They are all pished and I can't be.

2nd moan - Adding a moan here via Blackberry, in fact Blackberry overall is just pish...

What's pish? That's a new one to me on this side of the atlantic. BTW looks like the right coast may be blown over to see you guys. Hope you like them better than some of us. God's after them first an earthquake now a hurricane.

Pish as in Piffle or rubbish.

Or anything Blackberry. Useless as an email device and totally useless as a phone...

I use my BB very effectively as a phone - now that I have a $$$ headset.

Ooh - ooh! Another daily annoyance! Having to buy "accessories" just to make something work the way it should have to begin with.

My Blackberry is to be retired to the bin, I am downgrading to an old style Nokia mobile phone. I have to make the following compromises

- I can dial a number without a microscope...

- The battery lasts 3 days, who could have thought this would be possible ?

- I can read the screen - OK I need to use my glasses more, but the ones I use in the car are for distance, not phone...

- The PC integration software works and does not forget what phone it is linked to like a muppet.

- It does not get email. This is so good, no it really is. Not getting something should be in the frugal thread maybe.

- and it fits in my pocket, with no leather...

And the best part of it is that because nobody else at work wants it I get to stamp on it and crush it and bash it with a hammer.

EDIT - athough I will lose my hi score at Brickbreaker - which is also carp.

Big, loud, lifted 6.7L diesel 4x4 truck with knobby tires.

Slowing down to 2 mph for a speed bump.
