I wish I could understand why the designers insist on so much glass. It's heavy, it's a poor insulator, and for anyone who lives in a sunny climate, glass roofs are an invitation to heat stroke and/or using 25% of the engine's output on A/C. How about a nice opaque foam/fiberglass sandwich instead?
Oh, and I wonder what happens to your glass roof in a rollover?

Hi,
Any facts and figures on the Insight? The upper "grill" is blocked, right?

Since it's still a concept there's not much out, and there wasn't anything in the press kits.

I realize that. It's just a comment on the different world that designers must live in...

I keep thinking I saw the CRZ at the LA auto show last year (or at least it's nose on another concept). I know it's a concept, but I wish the nose was less aggressive, i.e. closer to what they would intend for production. I can see that it is consistent with their overall design direction, i.e. a cross between a CRX and an S2000 from I, Robot.

Jealous!
They didn't have any of those out last month in Vegas.

You mean the Audi?
The front of the CR-Z is an obvious no-go for production. What impresses me most about about the 2 sporty concepts is the boattail-like rear ends. the CR-Z rear is one of the best tails I've seen in a while and looks almost production legal.
The FC Sport tail looks very aero, but isn't attractive. As one blog put it: "It looks like it's trying to crap a Fit."

LOL, that's my quote of the week. My wife laughed out loud. My car pals will love it!
