My name is RAM and my namesake is an animal whose balls are literally three times the size of its brains and chief motivation in life is trying to breed as many in-heat ewes as it can find, fighting other RAMs to be first to breed those ewes. And some of them will bugger smaller RAMs if no ewes are available. Not much in the way of brains left after repeatedly crashing headlong at speed into other RAMs.

My name is RAM, and if you use me like i'm supposed to be used you will have to rebuild my transmission in 6-8000 miles.

It used to be: "If you can't Dodge it, RAM it."

Now it's: "I'm a RAM. I've gotten so ridiculously large, inefficient, and easy to dent/ding/break that I'm a shoe-in daily driver for most women and poor people will see me as "cool". I will burn though your gas reserves in one day, then burn your neighbor's reserves tomorrow. ANWAR can't stifle my thirst. I am RAM."

I figured more people would actually understand that if I spelled it phonetically.

I've never really understood the thinking behind that brand name. Ram? It's an effing sheep, fer gawdsakes. And (at the risk of being un-PC) one that's well known as an example of homosexual behavior in nature.
