Apparently not in the case of the Rocky Mountain wild sheep. (I don't know about domestic.) IIRC the alpha male drives all the other males out of the herd, and these males form their own homosexual bands.

If the wild ones are anything like the domestic ones, the Alpha drives them out via homosexuality. In other words, he rides 'em wild-style until they get tired of it and leave. That's one way the Alpha male shows superiority when the other rams aren't into butting heads.
I'm not an expert on the subject, though. That's what I've observed while raising Fin and Dorset ewes.

You can get depth perception with 1 eye by changing focus constantly, blinking, or moving your head minutely. As long as you change the angle your brain can construct a picture of the surroundings.
On my bike the folks in cars are okay. The pickups and SUV's are the worst. Although a few times now I've had some folks in large SUV's pace me 3-4 carlengths back when I'm sprinting across bridges on my commute. I do appreciate the gesture, and how they're thinking of others too. Or maybe they're looking for an excuse to slow down and chat on their cell phones...Whatever.

I just saw the commercial for the first time during some Football (and remembered this thread title)...
What I took away from the commercial's message and imagery is that despite the pretty pictures and poetry, screw the Environment and "Get the Job Done".
The image that sticks in my mind the most is the Coal-Fired Power Plant.
I see it as a underlying attempt to appeal to anti-Green truck buyers (and use whatever money is left to break-off the RAM brand of Chrysler into its own and start the process of discontinuing "Dodge Trucks").
Some people see a full tank as an excuse for reckless consumption.
EcoModders see it as an opportunity.

Dude, you need to teach grammar and spelling
My excuse: used the work computer with Windows and the mandatory, worthless IE Browser to post (no spell check).
So, wreckless has been changed to "reckless", to avoid coming across as a complete dolt.
Anyway, how many truck commercials are "Wreck-Less"? They drop tons of cargo into the box (without showing the rear axle snap) and traverse boulders at 40-mph without wheels busting apart or show the suspension bend and snap under stress.
So, no inspiration by the "full tank EcoModder quote". Meh, never mind...

Kind of adds a whole new dimension to "Ram tough: built to take it", now doesn't it? Someone with artistic talent needs to find a picture of that, and do a spoof commercial :-)

I won't tell my Wife you said that (High School History -- no sure how you "Do" that -- but I digress)...
OK, so you achieved "average" grades back in the day. Whose to say that those skills have not refined over the years... or decades, scores, etc...
