Zoleco supermileage car
Hi, we have something in common about our cars.They are both powered by 3 cylinder engines.In my case i decided to build a car from scratch to get the hole package as efficient as possible.So i created a three wheeled tear drop shaped car called the Zoleco.If you would like to see what is involved in this type of project you can check it out on Youtube (three videos to date).I just joined Ecomodder as another way of publisizing my efforts.Thanks Zoltan.

Investors...
Rich celebrities...
A production facility...
before anything has even hit the road...
Future drivetrain descriptions vague at best...
I know! Put a Palmear engine in it!

Well, good luck with the car. I hope you find someone interested in funding a high MPG, aerodynamic three wheeler. Seems like the last big attempt (Aptera) is in the process of falling apart.

Hi Frank,this Zoleco project that i have undertaken is my enduring lifes passion,it is an endeavour that is Herculean in scope.I'm sure you can appreciate the amount of time it takes to design and create a car from scratch.I have the experiance,passion and ability to put a working prototype on the road.If i continue to fund the project without any investers my eta would about eight years.I need to get this car into the forefront and prove it's abilities sooner than that i hope.Who better to get involved in such a unique car project than a celebrity,they like unique eye opening things and have the income stream to support ventures like mine.The production facility set up is a chicken and egg thing,i must get the prototype to the Sema show and the Detoit auto show ,gauge feedback and take orders.Then decide what size building will suite.If you have a great idea on how to get this thing rolling let me know.Thanks Zoltan.

Where did you here that? I thought Aptera was setting up for serious production.

If you read the official newsletter, everyone is always sitting up for production;
If you read the actual news stories, it starts looking like another big ass scam.
Aptera News - ApteraForum.com - Unofficial Aptera Car Forum
I have a question though, have you considered making a shell that could fit onto a regular suzuki swift? Sort of a high MPG kit car?

My take on Aptera is that instead of getting a working product to market with decent FE (which they could of done what 4 years ago already) they instead wanted perfection from a 3 wheel platform that works best with some minor issues that most would expect and not care about. It is a 3 wheeler afterall?
But no, instead they started bickering and wasting money on constant redesigns that actually detracted from many of the gains present in their initial design. In the end a more or less mediocre setup.
Bloody *******s! For once I thought we would have the real deal on the market, but as usual stupidity reigns supreme.
