Just got a call from the machinist.
The did a new tin template, and it bolts up great between the transmission and motor end cap.
He has also welded the tranny spline and Lovejoy to each other.
He cut an access panel into the bottom of the transmission houseing so that we can get a hand in there to make the spider and everything line up. Then it will have a little custom cover to keep anything else from getting in there.
The machinist is leaving soon to go on vacation for two weeks.
Hopefully, in that time, I will get the new brushes for the motor and be less busy with work, so I can get something done on this project!!!!!!
