I got a new best trip to work today, 79.2 mpg. 
The tank is still around 56 mpg though.

Nice.
I saw a 90 mpg round trip a couple of days ago. It's good to be back in the Flea after "only" 47 mpg US in the Micra. |

I did a quick little mod this morning. My sister is going to borrow the car for a few days and I didn't want the kill switch to be a pain for her. So, I installed a bypass switch to turn the kill switch on the knob on and off.
Thankfully, I had some extra wire when I installed the kill switch the first time around. So I just pulled some out and snipped it.
I grabbed the two ends, stripped them and soldered them together. Then, I soldered them to the little toggle switch.
For now, its just going to chill in the glove box.

Yep. The shift knob button can be easy to press, and if you're not used to it it could be a pain.

I ended up not swapping cars with my sister. This gave me a chance to get another best yet trip into work at 82.1 mpg!  I'm pretty happy to break into the 80s.
The tank average is still in the mid to high 50s. |
