It says 'out of stock' on Internet so it must be true. Previously they had two at $12K and one at $9k (that sold) when I first found out they have a certified used program. I'm not sold on the blue powdercoat upper frame.

If only I could sell the XFi and keep the SUPERBeetle, but alack and alas...

The best freeway car was the diesel Dasher 5-speed. Cruise at 85 with a big quartz clock in the dash.

More like this:

http://www.stationwagonfinder.com/wp...n-Dasher-4.jpg

Instead of a tachometer -- a clock. And reet pleats in the seats.

I got to wondering what Arcimoto is up to. There's a video on the pause in production I haven't watched yet, but first this:

They talk about sportball of course, but at one point they get onto Faction and the robotaxi

The pause doesn't (overly) concern me, it's still the flood damaged donor vehicles, the used market, and R&D on the tilting velomobile.

I managed to pick up a 2020 Deliverator for $1500 from Texas. Actually it was $250 but shipping is $1200. Granted, it has no title, no Manufacturer Origin Certificate, no keys and is not working because it sat for 4 years. Hoping for delivery this Friday. Earl is a parts car that might be converted to a Fuvla (truck with overhead rack) just for fun.

I didn’t think they even made them in 2020, interesting find, hopefully the battery isn’t flat

I recently found my LiFePO4 battery pack for the Acura flat and assumed it was a lost cause. I threw it on a charger and it accepted what appears to be a full charge. The charger didn't see the battery pack due to low voltage and wouldn't charge, so I used a switching PSU to give an initial charge. After that, my battery charger accepted the battery and gave it a proper charge and balance.

... still, even if the battery was toast, it's a heck of a deal on the platform. Don't know how difficult it would be to build your own pack.

Yay for you. Do you know if pieces and parts are going up for auction? Nobody I knew at Arcimoto will return my phone calls.

All I need is the suspension and brakes. I already have a Lexus drive axle.

They don’t seem to be selling parts. I’d like spare rotors as they are custom and have a support ticket in asking for a quote and the ability to buy and pick up the parts. A few people with warranty are able to get parts mailed to them for free. I think it is a matter of watching what is for sale and trying to get a good deal. I’m waiting for the Deliverator to be delivered any moment, at which we will see what is/isn’t working. I’ve affectionately called it “Earl.”
