I came up behind a car with the plate ADIOS- and when I went by I noticed it was an Isuzu... Amigo.

You pass a car while engine off coasting.

You see a forecast for 6-10" of snow and tell a coworker that your after work project is swapping over to your snow tires. He replies "they are not on now?". Nope to much mpg loss (30%). He laughs and goes that made my day.

You get passed by a Prius and a CRX HF while EOCing. It wasn't on the same glide, but it was this morning.

My frown is having to fill early because of this blizzard thing tomorrow.

I was zipping down the highway this morning when I just looked around me at all the cars and realized that everyone else there had their engine running!

I even laughed

When discussing mpg with a co worker, she claimed that over 30mpg in a crossover was nothing. Her (totally un-modded) Chevy Avalanche has gotten 38 mpg on a long highway trip.

She had five cars: Three got 10 mpg and two got 15 mpg. Total: 60 mpg

I had to drive for work on Wednesday, about 70 miles total. Time was critical, and I was in a company car. It was really fun to move forward through traffic for real. Bur it hurt not to be able to hypermile.

Then this morning during the Storm Of The Century Of The Week, I had my usual private lane on many parts of the highway to pass Jeeps with and still beat EPA highway despite all the backups.
