Now that I see the results for myself, it really doesn't give me a good feeling about what the car companies' priorities are (this device would be so easy to incorporate in an engine). I guess it's the consumer's fault too. We've never really clamored for more mileage efficiency. It actually decreased from 1988 (26 mpg) to 1999 (24.5 mpg).

No other mods to the car. Same speed, same tire pressures and driving techniques?

Lazarus, no other mods and I tried to keep my driving habits the same, etc.
It's such a simple device that it makes me wonder what would happen if I could vaporize all the fuel going into the piston chamber. They say when you vaporize gas (make it a smaller particle) it's easier to ignite and therefore provides more power/mpg.
This is the site I got it from: ***************** It's $150.

hmm, how can adding unregulated fuel to the intake save on gas? does driving around with your cold start injector running some how make your engine run leaner, I think not.
plus the Previa is injected so the injectors are atomizing the fuel, in addition when the fuel hits the back of the hot intake valve it is vaporized. This device makes no logic to me on an EFI engine.
with all due respect sir I hope you can prove to us that your are not trying to sell something here.

It was pointed out to me that "lorenzo" owns the domain to which he was pointing people to try to sell the dubious vaporizer device.
Also, a Previa matching his appears in an "ad" for the product elsewhere.
He's posted the same message on other efficiency sites.
So... I've banned the user for unscrupulous tactics pushing the device.
To the person who alerted me, thanks for keeping your eyes open and for being rightfully skeptical.

I was itching to call BS. I'm glad this worked out nicely.
I wonder other gimmicks are going to come out of the woodwork now that saving gas is in vogue?

Personally, I'm just waiting until we hit 3000 users before I reveal my product: the Enviro3000MagneVortibulator. (It's the real reason for starting EM. Watch for details!)
