You're correct, two layers. On the interior facing side of the outer door metal, and on the interior side of the inner door metal. I can't stress how big a difference this made.

I put dampening over nearly every surface in the hatch area, but have yet to add any in the passenger area (aside from the doors). I still have quite a few square feet left over.

Cut my rear springs to fix some of the ride height I gained when removing the IMA system. Rear was up almost an inch and a half, and taking 1/3 of a coil off brought it down about 3/4". I'm unsure if I want to take a little more off, or just leave the rear a hair high since I have extra cargo capacity now.

While I was at it, I treated their surface rust and gave them some underbody coating.

Rear of the car is mostly finished, at least all of the macro work. I plan to sew the two carpets together and tidy the seam, and there are some pieces that still need to be better attached, but the rough idea is in place.

If this is the "rough idea" I gotta remember not to let you see the stripped back of my Civic. Yeesh, it's embarrassing. Mine is a daily that I have to build on a shoestring budget since the point is saving cashflow and avoiding depreciation losses.

Anyway... looking good, hey.

My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

I don't discriminate.

At home I have chickens in my living room and I sleep with my head about 18 inches from my soldering iron. I'm just having fun with this.

Nice work. Maybe I should vacuum out the back of my Dasher.
