Clear as mud. I guess you can't believe anyone on Ecomodders would take the opposing viewpoint against causing a restriction to the normal flow of traffic on a super highway so now you want to start acting like a troll.

Honestly, what do you expect from a community that seeks to maximize fuel economy? And what constitutes normal? As I mentioned before, the legal speed range on highways in my area are 40 mph to 70 mph. Anywhere in between is technically "normal flow". Where people disagree with you is that you believe the maximum speed limit is the required speed limit, and anyone going slower is now restricting traffic flow. Technically (and legally) anyone going below the minimum speed limit of 40 mph would be restricting traffic flow. I respect your choice to feel the public pressure to go the speed limit. But you can't tell me I am wrong for going 55 mph in a 70 mph zone, simply because it isn't what all the other drivers are doing.

Did you really think that was an adequate or even serious answer?

Since you can't figure it out I hope tjts gives it a shot... Or better yet, someone that can conjure up a real answer.

It seems you are the one that can't figure it out. Why don't cops give out tickets for driving 74 mph in a 65 zone? Because a too high a percentage of drivers are doing it.
.
I speak English pretty well and have made my points.

I can guarantee you if a cop sees anyone doing +6 mph or more around here, they will be cited.

Regardless of my state and local situation, you are saying that the group of vehicles determines the speed limit. Nobody has defined group for me yet- 2, 3, or ? many cars?- and does said group get to go as fast as they want i.e. 110 mph and if so what statute allows that and if not what statute or practice defines what the speed limit is since the roadside speed limit signs are clearly false and non-binding?

My car has a slow speedometer, with the ticket happy cops around here, doing anything over 59 MPH on my speedometer would get me ticketed for speeding in a 65 zone if my odometer correction coefficient carries over to the speedometer.
