Direct injection it's already known in the Volkswagen FSI group, AUDI, Skoda, Porsche, Tam was able to do damage to the engine already at almost 50,000. km. I just do not know how it is with Toyota, Kia, hyundai, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, mitsubishi.

But there is probably no Direct injection on the American market?

Spotted this Citroën C4 Cactus some weeks ago. Even though the Brazilian model might not be so "eco" at all, with 4-cyl 1.6L flexfuel engines, the Spanish-made ones feature either some 3-cyl 1.2L engines or a 4-cyl 1.6L turbodiesel. What does surprise me is its relatively low weight for its class.

Now the Citroën C-Elysée that I spotted some years ago in Rivera, Uruguay.

Considering this 2nd-generation Peugeot Expert had roughly the size of a Chrysler minivan of the same period, and that most had either a 1.6L turbodiesel always backed by a manual transmission or a 2.0L with the option for an automatic, it's quite eco. This one is most likely fitted with the smaller engine.

Colleagues in the UK love the Cactus. Too bad we don't have a Citroen distributor here.

Jimny on the way out, but we might be delayed in getting them. Unsold inventory of that generation model still abounds.

Chevrolet Celta= opel corsa. The downside of the Corsa is lack of leg room in the back.

It's based on the Corsa, but not exactly the same car. This very same platform was also used in other model, the Agile made in Argentina.

Fiat Strada with the 1.4L flexfuel engine, being effectively used as a work vehicle by a slaughterhouse specialized in lamb meat

It might fare as eco to some extent...

Notice the tow hitch in this Prius...

Early Yaris that I spotted in 2014 in Uruguay

I see fewer Fusion hybrids than I used to see before the facelift

The first US-spec Fit I've ever seen

Early Fiat 147 Pick-Up that I spotted in 2008 or 2009 in Porto Alegre, but nowadays AFAIK it's somewhere in Bahia
