You mean the AK400? Well, since it had a rear bench seat as a standard feature in most markets, it might've been exempt of the Chicken Tax.

I don't remember when they were phased out in Argentina, where that one was made.

But anyway, maybe this Porsche Panamera 4 e-hybrid Sport Turismo won't be deemed eco enough, but considering it has a drivetrain similar to the Cayenne in a presumably lighter and more aerodynamic bodyshell it still seems worth to be featured on this thread...

AFAIK the Pontiac Fiero only got the approval to be produced because it was presented to the board as an economy-car, not as a proper sports car that could eventually become a threat to the Corvette in the eyes of the management. Plus it has been the first one I see in at least 22 years...

This one's converted to an EV. I failed to get a picture of the back.

Argentinians still enjoy small vans such as this Renault Kangoo more than Brazilians do, instead of embracing the SUV bandwagon.

Argentinians seem to also be more interested in CNG, since newer generations of Diesel engines are becoming too complex for shadetree mechanics to perform some makeshift repairs.
