Thanks. I recognize the name, but the text was in some foreign tongue.
The T redesign is interesting, but I prefer rat rods.
Saviero is similar to the Dodge Rampage. It was based on a 2-door and used an engine licensed from VW.

What you do sounds fun.

Well it's still his, but he never bothered taking the papers for it. He's a good guy, I'm sure he'd just give it to me if I asked. Though the way it is now, he has to worry about storing it, not me lol. It has a BC Salvage title, so it couldn't go south as it is. Have to hate the fact that our insurance company writes an old car off just because the front bumper got bent. I had a knock on my door at 4am this Sunday morning. It was the police, they were letting me know that my Civic had been hit while parked on the street. I figured "Dang, that's it, it'll be a write off, what a waste." Until I saw it. 3 scratches on the corner of the rear bumper. Phew! Luckily it was only a new Fiat that hit it.

The last time I talked to an insurance adjuster, I had helpfully used a sharpie to delineate the old damage and the new damage. When he walked around and looked at the *other* side of the car I knew I was in trouble.

Yup, that's exactly why I don't want to claim it through insurance here. It's a good little car, but I just know that if I ask for dough to fix it, they will want it to get a provincial safety inspection (which are stupidly hard to pass for a newer car, yet alone a 23 year old Civic), so it's not worth it. Though I did find out that the Fiat that hit it was a rental car. Hmmmm, who do I know that knows something about how rental car insurance works? Oh ya, me, seeing as I rent cars on occasion. The guy that rented out the Fiat will be sweating right about now, as it will be way cheaper for him to pay me out than for him to take a claim against his policy. I see a steak dinner and a bottle of Belvedere on him in my future, and he's lucky I am a nice guy or things would be a lot worse for him ha ha.

But while the Saveiro had a longitudinal engine, the Rampage had it mounted transversely like the Rabbit.

While back in the states for a little bit, I spotted this just recently. I think it's a Peugeot 505, but it was definitely a diesel. Don't see many of these around.

The real question is, what the heck is the person in the car next to it doing?

How about a pair of Fiskers? That makes 3 I have seen there so far. Both had about 7000 kms.
And a rusty GSI. 5 speed, needed front fenders but the rest of it looked solid. 260k KMs (161k miles).

Peugeot 505, with the 2.3L Indenor turbodiesel engine. Last time I saw one of these it had Argentinian plates and the painting was in a better shape...

New MiEV randomly sitting in a parking lot with no insurance on it, getting charged. I think it was being delivered by one of the transport companies there and was running low on juice so they plugged it in. I like these cars, I want one to go through the auction so I can drive it around in the auction yard lol.
