See this: https://drive.google.com/folderview?...UU&usp=sharing

I've tried to gather everything needed for basic 2C mosfet version build there. I'd like to do the same for IGBT build and 3-phase controller.

I have control/driver boards that I can solder and test, and then you would just have to plug it into 3 IGBTs and attach a bus capacitor.

I'm not sure what 'released' means, but I have a Beta AC controller, and it has been tested and works.

Paul is selling the control board for the AC Controller, assembled and tested, on hist web site. I have ordered 2 of them, my wife will be bringing them back home near the end of November.

I have not seen the IGBTs and the water-cooled heat sink kitted yet on Paul's web site.

Hall Effect Throttle on DC Controller

Hey Paul,

I was looking at replacing the throttle on my Mazda to interface to the IGBT-based DC controller.

BUT .. it would be a lot easier for me if I could just use the hall effect throttle that I have installed and plug it into the DC controller. There are only 2 wires going into the controller throttle, and I don't see any unpopulated holes on the silk screen like 'Hall Effect Throttle'

So would it be a relatively easy fix, or should I buy a pot-box?

It would be pretty easy to convert to hall effect. Cut out a resistor, add a jumper, change a pull down resistor value. badabing badaboom, done!

And change firmware too.

This is found from JackBauer's instruction:

Quote:
remove R10 and replace R8 and D1 with wire links. Pin 5 now outputs a +5v supply for the pedal and pin 4 is now the input from the pedal. Ground can be connected to pin 2. Just a case of disconnecting the traction supply and using RTD to setup the range.

Is that from the IGBT version of the DC controller or the MOSFET version?

If there are already instructions ... and I just need to follow them ... can you post a link? Or is this in the WIKI?

EDIT: I ask since RTD Explorer does not exactly work with the IGBT version as yet.

Jack had the 500amp board. Let me see if I can get very specific directions. Must go find that board on the computer!

I went through my backups - I don't have the .sch or .pcb files for the DC controller. If you find them, can you shoot them to me?
