Great stuff going on here, the air damn ties all together visually.
I can only comment from a 'Yeah that looks good' basis as I'm yet to tread this path.

All I can say is....KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE TEMP GAUGE....as I found out doing a similar mod. Those dams combined with some rad block CAN create some serious air flow blocking.....

so far the temp has been good. I have yet to sit in stop and go traffic, but it stayed the same as usual on the highway. Hopefully I'm never in any traffic to find out!

I took the car out on my 62.7 mile test route and achieved 45.4 MPG. My baseline for this route was 31.7 MPG which is an increase of 13.7 MPG or 43%.

Pretty good results!

Almost 40%!?! If the conditions were similar that's pretty awesome.

Conditions:
August 7 Baseline:
71 degrees
wind SSE 2.0 MPH
52% humidity
pressure: 29.98"
50.1 mph average speed
departed at dusk

September 16 Test:
67 degrees
0.0 wind
54% humidity
pressure: 30.07"
52.7 mph average speed
departed at dusk

The route is a predominately south and some south west route. Some rolling hills but relatively flat. All data was averaged between conditions when I departed and conditions when I got home. Tried my best to keep speed at 60 mph and use no hypermiling techniques. Obviously there is room for error, but my filling method consists of filling gas to top of neck, shaking car, filling to top of neck, shaking car, filling to top of neck. I use the same pump everytime to make sure I'm always on the same slope. I stay in the right most lane through the entire trip. I get off at an exit 31 miles from the gas station and get right back on going back where I came.

So you're gauging your mileage off of filling up 2 gallons? Sounds like you have a good fillup method and are seeing good results, but I would still take such small tanks with a grain of salt.

I would leave the dam alone unless its really scraping. It should trim itself as needed, as long as you don't hit anything hard enough to rip it off. I would also pump the tires up to the sidewall max.

Yes, I plan on getting more concrete data, but in my opinion my method is highly accurate and results from a whole tank would not be much different.
