In the bestgasmileage page, at the bottom of the "Top 10 Diesel" column of the "Top 10 by Percent Over EPA" table, the See more entries entry shows the gasoline cars

Also in all the tables of the bestgasmileage page it would be interesting to see only "alive" cars (updated during last 3-12 months, To Be Defined), or to have a filtering option.

The same in the "Top Vehicles MPG (US)" table in the Home page, with may be this additional rule : the log must have a minimal number of entries (To Be Defined).

My 2 cents,

Denis.

for some reason, it doesnt appear i'm able to edit my own posts :/

i'd like to remove some URLs that point to my website as they now return 404 errors :/
i had doax change one post for me last sunday; i was unable to edit the main post (i think it was because doax had actually edited the post after i posted, maybe not letting me edit after him? not sure), but saw the option to edit posts beneath it. Now it doesnt appear i'm able to edit any of my posts :/

please advise

EDIT #1: right, so im able to edit this post that i just made, but not able to edit any of the others i've made (some are rather old ones)....strange..suggestions?

EDIT #2: anddd it seems they are so old im no longer able to edit them... a little url modification returned the following alert:

That's not a bug but a feature

Maybe the mods could increase or lift the time limit on editing posts ?
With projects that might take a long while to complete, being able to edit earlier posts longer is a bonus.

Without a time limit on editing it would be possible for someone to go back to really old posts and completely change them to nonsense and/or spam. Finding that in ancient posts is much harder than in fresh ones. I like to think that no-one here would want to do anthing like that, but with thousands of members (and more scores coming in each time oil prices budge) anything is possible. Some of the other forums I attend have much shorter edit times - from 0 on one to 30 minutes on another - so EM's 300 days isn't that bad.

I've also needed to change dead links in my old posts once in a while and one of the Mods was very helpful after I PM-ed him. I suspect that asking the Mods for help is the best way to go.
