Why would a free market evangelist have a problem with a capitalist supplying the demand for a commodity? Why would a ~libertarian want armed government agents (deadly authoritarians funded by socialistic taxation) interfering with this exchange between free citizens? What ~libertarian principles align with this scenario? Social engineering fails. The free market knows best. The liberty bell is cracked.

If they're crazy enough to run at armed police when they're having a bad day maybe they should have been locked up where they can't get a hold of steel stabby things.
The family called for medical help and the executioners came.

The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any U.S. president.
Surely the original MAGA sloganeer's nefarious record will be eclipsed.

What "thousands of people restrained that way"?
Yep, and the cop kneeling on his neck doesn't change the fact that Floyd had 4x a lethal dose of drugs in his body.

That method of restraint is practiced by many police departments. You think Chauvin just tried a new WWF move that day, or you think he's used it before?

I'll just reiterate that anyone not capable of holding in their mind that 2 bad things occurred is either underinformed, or myopically focused and incapable of accepting that two things can be true at once.

The citizen's behavior is irrelevant to the law enforcement officer's behavior, unless an immediate threat is present (even in that scenario I can make a solid argument for the LEO to not escalate the violence). The law is (supposedly) the standard for citizens. The LEO is (supposed to be) held to a high standard.

Sure, but that's not the thing you're wrong about that I originally objected to; that Chauvin killed the man.

The topic of lethal doses of drugs is relevant to the discussion about what caused a person to die.

Does crossing out the things you want to pretend don't exist help your myopathy?

The coroner determined that his death was a homicide.

I strike through your character assassination attempts.

Pointing out a serious character flaw that many people could have isn't a character assassination attempt. People are capable of not being myopic if they are willing to hold two thoughts in their head at once. I'm merely presenting that option for those wishing not to be myopic. Can't help the willfully myopic though.

Regarding homicide, you think that's a credible claim based on;

"cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression."

Did the coroner find an imprint of a police badge on floyd to determine he was restrained by police with a knee to the neck?

That's a sloppy "finding" if I ever saw one. I'm surprised the coroner didn't find that racism caused Floyd's death.

I expect the trials to be more revealing. Our cities will burn again because that's what happens when pitchfork mobs looking for an excuse to destroy are given any excuse at all and not opposed by the law enforcement paid to protect life and property.

You trying to label me as myopic or incapable falls flat.

You're trying to make the case that Floyd was not deserving of human rights protections (Thanks, Pacifica Radio).
