It is intense. It would be great if you could somehow combine the gauges, but I imagine that is easier said than done.

I'm surprised, as I have a 400w block heater installed and even overnight, and when the temperature is around freezing, it only gets up to about 50c.

I'll probably go with similar sizes though. Thanks!

Ecky, Sorry I forgot to mention that my cars are kept in an insulated (but not heated) garage and it rarely gets below 50 degrees even in the winter. So you may need more watts if yours is out in the "cold" all night.

OH, I also should have said 180 degrees, not 280 degrees. Sorry.

This is freaking amazing. Where did you find tires for the 4" wide rims? Priuses come with 16" space savers, but the only tires I can find that fit are temporary-use spares.

He's not using tires that fit 4" rims, but rather, the stock tires for the Insight which apparently can be put on 4" rims. I imagine the sidewalls slope inward pretty significantly.

Turtle Average Speed

I was wondering what your average speed is to get 100mpg ? What is your max speed on just HVB? How far can you go on fully charged battery? Does it have Regen Braking?
