There's a Tesla with a gutted interior that beats up on all sorts of cars at the dragstrip, it's on youtube if you search "gutted tesla"

I wonder how slow a Civic VX or a CRX HF are at 0-60? They weigh nothing, but the VX at least has a bit of power. Not much, but a bit haha.

Dunno bout the hf, but the vx 0-60 was something like 9.6 seconds to 60, not bad at all really. Mine had the 3.25 final drive but the ex/si gearset and would be about a nose ahead of my brother's 1990 e34 525i in a drag race until I got to 3rd, then he'd start to pull on me.

My Si could be on the list of above 40mpg and low 6's 0-60mph...if I could keep my foot out of it...but...I just cant'...so I'll settle for 37-39mpg.

Not even just one trip into triple digits to see how it feels? (Could it even do that before?)

They'd top out around 115 (give or take) without the IMA working and maybe 125 with a good battery.

Where am I safely going to do 100mpg around here? Most of our roads are 35-50mph. I don't think there's a road in the state with a speed limit above 65, and there are only 2 (?) of those.

A track? Do it before you get 6th gear in and a fuel economy gauge installed, that way you have more of an excuse to let loose in it once or twice. Plus, if you start out with lower mileage, your LMPG can only go up from there, rather than later down the road when your LMPG is high and a track day would hurt your hard-earned lifetime average.

Okay, I'll stop trying to be a bad influence now.
