Yes, break-in the tires. I have them on a CRV and the mileage got better after about 5k miles. Don't baby the tires; break'em in right.

I’m never gentle on my tires, hence my being impressed at getting 28K on my last set... there’s a short stretch of road on my commute back home from ridesharing that I always hit at maximum attack, I can’t wait to do it again. I probably gained 10-15hp from the header and exhaust and with new tires it should be some serious fun for the ~.7mile that it is

Back roads in WV and VA are fun. I was over 90 MPG on my drive down to college so I had a little fun on the twisties.

Sorry it didn't work out to meet since you worked today and I couldn't delay my drive by another day. Maybe over thanksgiving break when I pass through again?

So I was involved in my first accident last night... nobody was injured, it happened at less than 5mph, and I was stopped. Some college freshman didnít take a left turn wide enough and dug my front corner into the side of her new car. Because I drive a Saturn with plastic body panels I just had some paint scraping. Her Nissan however didnít fare so well...

Doesn't look too bad. Glad to see it didn't do more damage!

I work fast guys! Instead of posting about the damage earlier I was working on the car. I got my new intake elbow, so I worked over my airbox base, enlarging the inlet and adding lightening holes in the support brackets.

Next I set to work actually fixing the damage caused to my car. I ended up painting both fenders and actually using clearcoat this time!

My car also seemed to need brake pads suddenly. I should have gotten a new set of Stoptech pads again but I was trying not to be forever getting it fixed and just got the cheap ones from the local Advance auto parts... my drag reduction clips didnít last, and were broken and rusted when I took the brake caliper off... I also realized that the accident threw my alignment off. The steering isnít self centering like normal and thereís more rolling resistance than normal...

But I did get two of my Mk2 wheel covers done, I think they look good. I also used a scrap piece of vinyl from the wheel covers and wrapped the Saturn logo on my steering wheel...

Looks good! How long did you have the brake reduction clips on for?
