I've even had issues in non-lean burn mode a fair number of times now. I don't get consistent power delivery. It feels like power surges as I'm accelerating even (not in lean burn).

You might want to check the grounds again if you've gone through everything else

What a difference a few degrees makes. 33F here this morning and it went into lean burn like a dream compared to lately. Its still not running right though. I still get some surging of power while accelerating, and lean burn is still a bit bucky. I'm wondering if those rusty ignition coils have anything to do with it. I'll have to check their resistance, but I'm also wondering if the rust delaminating the layers a bit effects things that much...
In any case, I'm more so and more so looking forward to getting this car under the knife to fix the things wrong with it. I am loving it, but the little quirks can be fairly annoying. I don't think I mentioned it here before, but the previous owner(s) must have abused the clutch and it shudders a good amount while taking off. Its on the list of things to replace when I pull the trans to fix the synchros and input shaft bearing.

Looks like something else I need to rust-proof.

So, I did a bunch of reading on IC over lunch. Seems that I should replace my rear engine mount before blaming the clutch (though its likely both are bad haha).
Any of you guys have a good source for Honda parts? I checked majestic, its $92 which seems... well like dealer pricing haha.

I always check Rock Auto just in case they have whatever I'm looking for, although I'm not sure how many Insight parts they would have.
Also, I would see if anybody on IC has a spare for cheap

That's about the going rate, the reason being there are no aftermarket parts and it's all aluminum. I use G1parts myself. Visually inspect the mount (it's very easy to get to) before committing to replacing it.

Its pretty well done for. Its probably original and the car has 135k on it. Here is a picture from earlier this year.

New mount ordered. Thanks for the tips guys.
I want to install it before I take the car off the road so I know if I need a new clutch or not.
