The ground straps have been replaced. I don't know how corroded they are though. Here is a pic that I took when I got the car.

Another thing I noticed while checking the spark plugs tonight was that they didn't have a different part number? Here is what they all had on them.

The ground straps still look alright to me, but boy does salt do a number on things.

I still have my old plugs, but they're boxed up. I'll dig them out tomorrow and check the part numbers on them.

There are abcd plugs with the same prefix just need to check the block if your plugs aren't marked

Yeah, I checked the head and they're all B plugs. Thus I went to verify that the plugs themselves were B plugs, but I guess I didn't see where to check that since the part number is all the same.

After sleeping on it, I'm inclined to think that your low battery voltage, random dying, and misfire codes are probably all part of the same problem, and it sounds electrical.

This is unlikely to be your issue, but I had a fuse that had a bit of corrosion in the fusebox which was causing a lot of wacky behavior with my radio and 12v socket. Replacing the fuse cleared this up.

Thanks. Its an easy fix and needs to be done anyways... I seem to be saying that a lot haha. Hope it takes care of it! Is it just a standard Civic battery? It looks the same as my 2004 Civic battery.

If I remember correctly, the Insight's battery is smaller than the Civic's, but I believe the HCH1's battery also fits in the battery box if it's cheaper. Not sure about the normal Civic's.

On the very top of the plug, it should be stamped.

Another thing I noticed on the Insight this morning was where the dew rolled off the rear window... Has anyone else noticed this?

It reminded me of the new Prius Prime's rear window...

I've never seen mine do that. However, it's usually the case that when I'm driving in light rain, my hatch doesn't get wet.
