Yeah, all the cranking I did last night showed no signs of any fluid leakage. So, it seems like its all buttoned up. Now I just have to get it to keep running.

I have it all reassembled except some of the intake stuff. I need to do an ATF change on it yet.
I also posted a troubleshooting thread here: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...run-30185.html
It still won't stay running shortly after its started. I think its fuel related.

I pulled it apart again and re-timed things. I used the crankshaft pulley timing marks vs the timing belt pulley timing mark and that seemed to fix things (though the timing belt pulley mark does seem to be off now ). I got it all back together and I got one more engine code, P1298. This seems to be a bad electronic load detector sensor which is another common issue. Very easy fix and costs ~$30 at a dealer. One more thing to add to the list. Oh yeah, the power steering pump is also whining like crazy when I turn the wheel... meh. I'm ready to be done with this car.
On the up side. I got the rear passenger door to open up. It was stuck closed. I also repaired the driver's side door switch which had been pushed into the frame. I'll probably get a replacement switch for that as I hear it'll probably just get pushed in again.
So, still plugging away at fixing the Civic.

You're almost there.
What door switch are you talking about?

The door switch that controls the dome light and door ajar light. It popped out of the bracket and got pushed back into the frame.

I put the new ELD sensor in this afternoon. Now the car will barely start. I got it to run once, got a handful of misfire codes... grrrr.

I'm working on the Civic again. It won't start on its own, you have to give it some gas to get it to start. Then, you get the flashing engine light due to misfires. Eventually, I get a P0303, P0304, and P0300.
So, I pulled the plugs and 3 & 4 look normal to me, but 1 & 2 look super rich. Swapped the ignition coils around, no difference.
1, 2, 3, and 4 left to right.
So, next up I checked the resistance of the fuel injectors. Each one is dead on 15 ohms.
So, I'm quite confused... Any ideas guys?

MAP sensor? Are you sure that swapping the coils would quickly produce evidence of fouling on the plugs? In other words, maybe it is the coils?

I don't think its the map sensor. It runs if you give it gas. Its just obviously running roughly. I have a little more info in my thread on troubleshooting the car:

Well, it turns out it was my fault. I did a compression test on the engine, cylinder 3 was zero. I removed the valve cover and double checked my valve adjustment. Sure enough, cylinder 3 was completely off. The exhaust valves wouldn't shut. I think I must have done them in the wrong order or something. I readjusted it and it runs smooth as glass now. I'm so happy to have that sorted out.
I finally got to take it for a drive. I must say I REALLY like how the car feels/drives. The suspension setup or something just makes it feel good.
