Yep, its ready to roll. I'm just tinkering with the Insight a bit more to see what I all want to do with it while I'm driving the Civic.

The Civic is now on the road and has made its maiden voyage last night to our friend's house. The Insight is parked while it gets some much needed fixes.

Congrats. How do you like driving it? MPG - did you put a ScanGauge in it yet?

I like it just fine. The bumps are a little less harsh in the Civic. The handling isn't quite as nice though, more body roll (DX has no sway bars). The Civic has a good amount more pep to it for sure. You don't need to downshift like you do in the Insight. The Insight seats are more comfortable and I like the lower seating position vs the Civic as well. The Civic shifter is quite vague (or I'm still getting used to it), quite unlike the Insight which is a fair amount more notchy which I like. Overall, its a great vanilla car.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of mileage I get in it. EPA rating is 27/34/30. I think 40 mpg should be easily doable in it without any real fancy driving. I don't think I'll have the car on the road long enough to do any mods to it, so it'll be bone stock while I drive it. Tires are at 50 psi though.

First trip to work with the (uncalibrated) Scangauge. It was warm but rainy. I did a tiny bit of P&G with the engine on during downhill sections where I could glide a bit longer. Wow, I forgot how much P&G really helps make you situationally aware. I ended up averaging 41 mpg. Not too bad considering the car's rating of 27/34 mpg.
What are you other 01-05 Civic guys getting?

41 MPG! You might as well be driving an Aveo!!
Engine on glides in the Civic?
No P&G in the Insight, eh?
