2012 bmw 3 series w/ eco mods!!!

2012 BMW 3-series TV commercial (F30) "Which Means" [HD] - YouTube
I love how they list the eco-mods and then at the end say...." we only do one thing....build the ultimate driving machine!"

As opposed to selling a eco-car......and getting a geeky image, they are just going to incorperate it into the car. But run commercials that will attract the eco-minded consumer.

36mpg on a bmw!!!!!

My '99 323i (2.5L) automatic averaged about 20 mpg. That's why I got rid of it - a small car with crappy mileage is just plain wrong. That being said, everyone needs to experience the BMW driving experience at least once in their lives. It truly is a wonderful thing.
36 mpg in a Beemer? I want that.

Still impressive. Highest MPG RWD gasoline car I can think of. I only know of 3 others rated at 30mpg or more... the V6 Mustang, the BRZ, and the Genesis Coupe.

How about a front-wheel-drive BMW? EPA rated at 29/37. Mine thinks it's getting 43 overall, though the gas receipts say it's more like 42 MPG.

You can find this car at your local MINI dealer...

I bet I could wrangle 36mpg out of a 335d. It's the only Beemer I'd consider at the moment. Then again, I am a diesel fanboy.

Don`t you get normal diesel BMWs in the US? My 12 year old 5 series gets 40mpg with not much trying. It`s cool to have a balanced, comfortable and sporty car with decent economy.
