Ah, it seems this is a hypermiling micro-cars only site. my bad, I'll go delete now & head over to start an account/profile on Fuelly then.

Sorry guys, I misunderstood the site.

That seems a bit exaggerated. I don't think any offense was intended by the prior post.

Who told you that? None of the moderators, I'll bet.

My truck isn't very trucky, but it's here. Big Dave and Diesel Dave are both regular participants with fullsize trucks, Diesel Dave in particular is turning in numbers that would shame a lot of economy cars, even if you derate his numbers to level the diesel's playing field advantage. Big Dave's "Red Baron" F-250 posts mileage numbers similar to mine, and his truck is literally twice the size of mine.

There are lots of trucks here. Shoot, we even have had participation from a guy driving a Class 8 tractor trailer (his numbers were amazing if you consider the fact that his vehicle is 80,000 lbs and over ten feet high)

Come back!

Trucks are very pertinent! The mods people do here are just different from the other enthusiast sites.

I get better mileage with my truck than many people do with their Honda Civics. Much of the credit goes to this site. And I haul stuff.

I was just reading my new Motor Trend tonight. They had a 3 truck comparison, the ecoboost got the same observed economy as the Hemi Ram and new 5.3L Silverado.

It's not the size, it's how you use it..
