Yes that grill fill makes it look like a gasser conversion. This seems all the rage- Kia Soul gassers have a grill block and hideaway tailpipe that keep tricking me in to thinking I've seen a Soul EV. Funny too are the black matte headlight inserts that make it look like a boy racer add-on rather than oem projectors behind flush lenses. Overall, I'll give it a cautious thumbs-up and look forward to a test drive.

More info the the debut of the Bolt:
Green Car Reports first drive of a pre-production model.
Here is Autoblog's repost of the press release: 2017 Chevy Bolt EV arrives in late 2016 with 200-mile range
I gotta say, it looks nicer than a Leaf.
Does anyone know the cd and dimensions of it? It'll be interesting to compare the aero specs.

That's freaking awesome. The world is changing fast.
My worry is that the public dismisses it as "Just another GM" instead of recognizing how amazing the technology is. We will see.

That Bolt roofline and body taper is just begging for a quality tailcone....

3580 lbs is light compared to other EVs. It's over 1,000 lbs lighter than the Tesla, and only 200 lbs heavier than my TSX gasser.
This is looking like it might be my next car... Now I only have to wait 4 more years to get a used one. Either that, or the Leaf will be thrown in for free with the purchase of its tires.

Same here. A used Volt or Bolt are at the top of the list to replace my Prius when the time comes.
