Wow, he was booking it! There was no hypermiling, drafting etc. And he was hitting 80mph at some points. I think of Terry's bike like an original milk carton sized cellphone. In less than ten years, anything is possible.

30 amp breakers are pretty standard for a 220v charger. This is the max I see for every home installation. Apparently ChargePoint also set up their network of chargers at 6.6 kW. Keep in mind there is a long, flexible cable going to the vehicle. Anyway, who cares about the charging stations? The story is the streamlined plug in motorcycle.

He rides like a maniac. Weaving and lane splitting at speed. A good lesson in how not to ride. A determined man with a purpose I guess.

I figure single phase 240 volt power on a 30 amp circuit is perfect for home charging. When on the road I figured you might want more.
I want to know be cause I am considering building an electric vehicle again.
For now you can expect to pull up and have 4 open chargers waiting for you, will this always be the case?

His accomplishment has gotten a lot of coverage on the big blogs. Harder to accomplish today than it was 3 or 4 years ago!
