I always thought a gen. 1 Prius was a gateway drug...
(It led me to building an electric car.)

I'd rather plant weed at home and homebrew biodiesel from its seeds to use in a TDI

again,
in my area, I just can't afford a TDi in the same condition/miles for near the same price
we did come pretty close to picking up a 2012 Chevy Cruize ECO
but the seats/shifting irritated my wife's back

I know, it was just a reference to MetroMPG's comment about the Prius being a gateway drug

Selling pot for other Prius drivers you could quickly get the bucks to buy a fleet of TDIs

Welcome KrautBurner. I recently traded my 12' Camaro SS for my Prius C. The premium gas/poor gas mileage and the fact it sat in the garage all the time led me to trade it. I'm loving the 50-60 mpg's now.

$130 in my F-350 yesterday
kinda hurts compared to $35 to fill up the Prius
but I can't haul 3/4 cord of wood, a lawn mower, a thatcher, 2 chainsaws, and 4 adults in the prius
