Very cool. How much did the paint job run you if you don't mind me asking?

Paint was $300, the tow was $ 20, the sealer before the paint, because of color change, was $ 80. Local sales tax is 6.6%. So it is under $430.

Looks to me like the backlash was good at 0.008", but I need to replace the 0.030" pinion shim with a 0.040"

Looks a lot nicer! I definitely like the new color a lot more. How did it come out up close?

A bit of "orange peel" you can see, but can't feel. I see dents now I couldn't before, but most I have to look for. It would embarass anyone serious, but not this owner, and I don't claim to do body or paint. I'm all about the mechanical aspects.
So here's my first mod, cutting for the third link. I'm copying a similar car here, and I'll post a pic of that after mine.

But mine will be adjustable.

64" overall width, versus 63 stock, so it'll tuck.

So I guess I'll have to space the backing plates ( which double as caliper brackets ) out a little.

I must have missed it. What is the deal with the new rear end?
