Impact wrench and a powerful one at that. If all else fails a breaker bar pull out the starter and use a screwdriver to hold the starter ring teeth and hope. There is a to you can make or buy possibly rent look on amazon. I use the impact. Also try to tighten it a little just to break the static friction. It works. After you get the bolt off a sharp hammer blow to the face and some wiggle it should come off. Possibly some penetrating oil.

the concept of it seems good.
but its too damn small. ihave to take it back to napa. i thought it was just a universal one. i got a really large breaker bar. and have been trying to do use that. from reading iv heard this is the best method.

Good luck with that. And you should never use a trrque wrench to break a fastener loose. It might work

Powerbuilt 648796 Honda Crankcase Pulley Removal Tool:Amazon:Home Improvement

You need this or a real impact wrench. Or make one with a large nut pipewrench or a welder and flat stock.
