Looks like a good, stock base. Well, as good as a Metro can get

The CO2 calculation is just one addition to the usual SG features. It still does code reading, resetting, etc.
The major difference is the SG-e isn't programmable (x-gauges) -- which is not an issue with a Metro anyway. The set of standard gauges it comes with is all you need. If I didn't have a hybrid, I'd get the E.

Boom. That's what I needed to know. I'll pick up the SG-e soon.
As for the Pepsi decals, you can still see them if you look real close. But I've always been more of a Dr. Pepper guy anyway.

I've inexplicably taken a liking to root beer this summer... previously not much of a soft drink/soda drinker!

Today was the first day I drove the car to work and back. The commute is about 8 miles each way. Yes, I killed it pulling out onto a main road. Yes, it sucked. But other than that the trip was good! I'm still having trouble when going from 1 to 2, the car kind of shakes back and forth (not side to side). Seriously, what's up with that? Am I not giving it enough gas? Or am I letting the clutch out too fast or something?

The lugging is because of not-so-smooth clutch work. It happens to new drivers taking off in 1st or shifting to 2nd because there isn't as much momentum to dampen the lugging effect. It happened to me when I first started driving too, so don't feel bad! It will become natural with time. Consider driving up to a higher RPM in first gear before shifting to 2nd. Maybe like 3000 or 3500 RPM. Once you get more of a "feel" for the clutch and how to smoothly shift you can focus on driving more economically.
