Life is a balance.
3Wheeler made a beautiful tail on his Insight, but it took 2 years.
Basjoos did it in a short time and reaped the fuel benifits.

Would I "Basjoos" a new Insight? No more than I would spend 2yrs modifying on a 20yr old beater.

In the non-ricer performance world, it doesn't matter how it looks when all you see is tail lights.
I have had a few vehicles with multi color bodies and steel rims that had thousands in engine and chassis work. I've passed cars with $10K paint jobs and stock drivelines.

Its all a matter of priorities.

Basjoos, you inspire us all !

Yeah.

Although I'm not so sure wether the new cleaned up look is much cleaner after all.
From this angle, it looks like it closed off a gap though, so it must be cleaner.

You can't argue with 76mpg though !

It's weird though, when you realize the severe dip in Basjoos fuel graph is still better than your own best result

When I look at the pictures of the Aerocivic, I think about ways that it could be cleaned up. Then I look at my wagon. That's when I shut up and go find something else to do for a while.

Google recently upgraded their photos of my area in Google Earth. I spotted the Aerocivic in my front yard, the unique shape of the car being very evident in the aerial photograph.

Ha! The Google Earth pictures would be from a much higher elevation than the ones you shot from the overpass! Any chance you could post a screen-capture of the Aerocivic from on-high?

No new mods to report. Since all of my work in done outdoors, my main modding seasons are spring and fall when temps aren't too cold or hot for working all day outdoors. I've logged over 190,000 miles on the Aerocivic since modding it.

I don't know how to do and post a screen capture.
