That's a nice write-up, Phil. Gonna get those rear view cameras?

While Phil was here we called a friend of his who has manufactured aero shells for Ford F-150 trucks. I bought one and I am headed out on a trip to Arkansas in November to pick it up. It has been wind tunnel tested and should offer me a Delta Cd of 0.062.

Hmmmm, Bondo's from Arkansas. I wonder...

Busted! Looking forward to meeting John Gilkison when he comes to pick up his Aerolid. He did do a fine job on the EV World blog on Phil's "Spirit of Ecomdder".
Also, looking forward to seeing the smoke visualization of Phil's truck from the Darko tunnel.

NOTE**cameras as mirrors**

if he does goes with cameras I suggest he installs them by the roof, otherwise he will run into my problem and have way too much glare at night, he will not be able to see the markings on the lanes, and only see huge blobs of lights as cars
PS: also check with the state police if its ok to have a setup like that or if he will still need mirrors, if so just buy 1 of those small reverse parabolic mirrors that people install to reduce the blind spots cut it in half and put them where the original mirror assembly goes and attach it with bondo, and sure they're useless but could save you from getting a ticket, because the law more than likely doesn't specify a minimum size for them

Metro,
I only regret that I have but one \thanks to give for your post.
Thanks to Phil for all of your hard work and the wisdom that you share with us. Thanks to everyone for helping Phil get there. I have seen terrible tiffs and squabbles on here, but I am glad that we came together for a good cause.
If you donated, thank you.

I hadn't seen the truck from the back in its' latest form. I really like what Phil has done with it. I even like the design of the taillights and the lettering.
The 'no drag' logo is a nice finishing touch .
