If that is with electric heating of the house, how do you keep the usage so low?

John, The $6 to $11 is the increase only in the bills from last year. My total electic bill is around $120 per month in winter.

Just came out of Lurker mode today and started a new account, so I figured I should drop by all the threads that inspired me to get my very own VX (this Saturday, woo!) and start ecomodding in earnest! Great work on the Mule, it's one of my favorite threads to read over again and again.

I chuckled too hard at this lol... Getting 86 mpg and wanting more is the benchmark of a true hypermiled champion!

For some reason, I need to actually go to photobucket.com to view images posted here. How did you design your active shutters? I finally put http://www.amazon.com/Vent-Miser-916...0JH3X2868TR0ZR in my basket, but I am positive there are other things I have been planning on purchasing through Amazon, so hopefully I remember those and actually add them as well.

I planned on combining that with http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post421236 and magic.

The details of my manual adjustable shutters start on page 31, permalink #308 in this thread. If you have any additional questions, just let me know.
