Vman 455 (tyrant)

Under what authority is Vman 455 closing threads? This isn't the first time.
Does MetroMPG or any of the other moderators know this is happening?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When a member impugns the character of another in a public setting, and the injured party publishes information in self-defense, and then experiences immediate censorship, how does this serve the spirit of contribution at the forum, and any incentive to continue, when attacked at every turn, and by the same clique?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PATENTS, and especially their illustrations, I consider to be an enormously important resource for visual information to those pondering aerodynamic modifications.
Julian Edgar has just published an entire book full of 'illustrations.' I'm not sure why, and I've asked him to please explain the premise of the book, and any take-away he might have considered potential readers might derive from this collection.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pressure drag is profile drag, which some refer to as 'shape' drag.
I would think that, the study of shapes and their associated Cds would be a lesson in itself. And my college fluid dynamics text 'thinks' the same thing. They call it dimensional analysis.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm willing to suffer a degree of constructive criticism as well as a bit of uncivil discourse, however, when an individual closes the door on discourse, we may run the risk of throwing the baby out with the bath water.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And again I ask. Who is Vman 455, his qualifications, and authority to act unilaterally without council from at least the owner of Ecomodeer.com ?

It's not hard to understand.

Threads have been closed where either/or:

1) You have been being personally abusive.

2) You have been posting topics that are quite irrelevant to aerodynamic modification.

Personally, if I were you, I'd count it lucky you've not been banned - you've clearly been breaching the stated rules of the forum.

Takes two to tangle.

It's an interesting question. I know of two moderators. I don't know that a non-moderator can lock a thread. If that's possible, I can shut the whole forum down?

1) shall we keep score and trace origins?
2) who is educated enough to make the discernment?
3) seem like I can barely get a word out before I'm set upon, with obviously no time taken for thought or vetting of information. Any abuse you experience could just be a mirror held up by recipients of your keystrokes.

Vman 455

So the question remains. Who is Vman 455, what are his qualifications for knowing about aerodynamics and tweaking a car for better mpgs?
What distinguishes him as judge, jury, and executioner?

Vman 455 was appointed a moderator many months ago.

The title of this thread is enough to categorise it as more personal abuse from Aerohead.

You've never caused a thread lock? If memory serves....

VMann is a moderator. His profile carries the green star. On this forum that has always meant moderator:

Imagine being so upset about something on an obscure website for modifying automobiles for efficiency that you take precious time out of your day to argue about it...

I mean, maybe just log out for a bit?
