We have a chance at winning more awards by entering in a broader variety of classes. We have an excellent variety here - so far none of our cars are in the same competition class as any other of our cars.

Do our hybrid team members know how to force charge before competing? Starting with a full battery is good! Obviously done before resetting the MPG display.
Insight - 3500 RPM in neutral (EPS light might come on, ignore it)
Prius - Full brake and full throttle in drive (Release throttle first!)

Thanks. I didn't know that technique.

On an Insight, I would use that technique only with a manual switch to activate the battery cooling fan. Insights are getting a reputation for letting their packs build up too much heat. I have that switch installed. :-)
