Whatever is most expensive, least particle and hardest to work with is what they will use.

Glad to see that CF is core to the build. Done properly, it offers pretty amazing crash protection. I don't believe it will be a huge influence on production cost or pricing in the end.

Well their website calculator for savings is clearly needing work. (My car gets about 3.5 mi/kWh.)
It looks like it doesn't even use that for their calculated savings, which doesn't make sense, as it would help the numbers.
