Better to fail quickly than to fail slowly.

The aphorism is formulated as 'fail early, fail often.'

Ukraine needs to fail quickly, before the ground freezes.

I don't wish for Ukraine to fail. Worse is giving people just enough life support to shed blood fighting our enemy. I'm sure it's way more complex than that, considering history and geography are my least knowledgeable areas, but that's about what it looks like to me.

But, the point is taken, that if you're going to fail, to do it quickly. Wisdom is giving up a lost cause sooner than anyone else would.

I'd say it's not clear which side is failing worse right now. But anyway, I'd say it's time to negotiate since the situation is almost a stalemate. Sadly.

Russia is targeting utilities. That's messed up.

You really think Ukraine is just holding off Russia? The stalemate is by design.

The mess-up occurred when the invasion began. After that, there's no rules in war... unless one finds themselves on the losing end. The rules often apply to the losers, and never to the winners.

Not sure whether it's politics or history () but the bridge came first. It should have been over with the Minsk agreement.

By 'fail' I meant negotiate.

That's what the US Air Force does. First things they will do jam about 99.9% of the electromagnetic spectrum used for radio communication, sever ground based communication, take out air defences protecting sub stations and transmission stations and the power stations them selves. Then remove the rest of the air defences. The only way they know an attack has started is by communication black out, followed by a regular black out.

Russia was supposed to be some big bad super power power that could easily take over one of its neighbors.

I don't want to be the one that gets the thread locked, but....

The 'taking over' and threats of nukes are all in the Western press. Meanwhile, the bioweapons labs are gone, the Azov Battalion and the Torando Group have gone into the meat grinder.

Ukraines decisions going forward will determine whether they get to keep Odessa.

They built this in less time and for probably what will end up being less money than Aptera.
https://youtu.be/DmqC6w1UlQk

That's why there's no excuse for Aptera last time or this time.
That flying jeep thing was science fiction.
The Aptera is an electric 3 wheeler, well there's tons of electric vehicles and at least several different designs of 3wheelers in existence and they still can't figure it out and it doesn't even have to fly or be autonomous.

That's pretty awesome. Someone should scale it up to a 1U shipping container, with retractable wheels with hub motors.

And partner with Jetoptera:
