They tore apart one of the only five or six examples of the Arcimoto Roadster!

Makes me wonder what could be done if replacement parts for that converted EV become needed, as they're seemingly on short supply...

So, even the Arcimoto was basically a makeshift from off-the-shelf parts... Makes me guess those who were really willing to own one could make a replica at home.

The hard part might be the software.

Seems like this issue becomes easier to overcome on EVs than on gassers, even though some aftermarket ECMs such as those from Fueltech now can control accessory functionalities too.

Hope springs eternal, and I did a search on Youtube. This is seven months old:
Notice especially, at 1:31 a single passenger cageless tilt-wheel version; sort of a hybrid of the FUV/MLM.
So you're saying there's a chance?

They continue to sell off vehicles to make payroll. They lost the RAMP facility to a 6M loan they couldn’t pay, even though they bought it for 10M and put millions into it. They are leasing AMP, though I don’t think they pay rent on it. They have about 8 employees. They store about 6 Roadsters, about 4 FUVs, maybe 50 upper frames, plastic outter pieces at the RAMP for now. I just got 3 flooded salvage FUVs from RAMP after offering some money for them. They say they have an area to start putting FUVs together, but it is only from remaining parts. Maybe 50 can be assembled and sold. They have anywhere up to 5 or 6 FUVs for sale at any one time. They continue to offer support and service in Eugene. I heard they were about $19M in debt but the auction likely only brought in $5-$8M. I still struggle to get schematics from them. I’ve tracked down cables to do diagnostics. There are non Arcimoto support people out there - in Oregon there is Jim Tepper and Brad Harness. In FL there is Gordon Baccus. They finally got a free google email address: service.arcimoto@gmail.com. They got their domain name back but don’t have a website or phone number yet. There is no real internet at the AMP, just a hotspot that sometimes doesn’t work well. The 3 wheel things in the background of the video are from China. Arcimoto is looking at outside contracts to make money. That contract has been talked about for about a year now.

Those must be from the five flooded FUV they had. Joe Morgan thought I could get one once the insurance settled. If I may, how much per each?

I don’t think there are flooded FUVs left. 4 are located at Alan’s Industrial Salvage and I got the last 3. I paid them $800 for all 3 but they are very picked over and missing tons of parts. I gave 2 to Tepper and we have Swamp Thing still on the trailer because the motors are seized so front wheels don’t turn until you drop the motors and gearbox together. So we used wheel dollies to get them on the trailer. It took some effort. Tepper is trying to put different batteries and on board charger on to see if he can get one of his going. We are simply taking ours apart and storing the parts. Alan is selling the salvage vehicles for about $1000 each, which is ridiculous. They have no batteries, seats, steering, etc.
