Yep it does drop quickly just before the end. I use the 100 mile points (travelled) to check progress - this seems a little bit better than the last one...

...maybe.

Shelf still not done, a little domestic 'crisis' got in the way but materials are cut and shaped ready for work when I get a chance, maybe later today.

Also upped tyre pressures to 48 (50 is the max on the sidewalls) from 44 to see what effect this has. The fronts (Rainsports) are ok - the rears (Paradas) are cr@p. May swap them so a) I don't spin and b) the Paradas wear quicker.

And constructed a new camera mount so hopefully we be able to make some to / from work videos to check techniques.

So, did you notice a difference with the higher tyre pressure? Longer coasts, maybe? Harder ride? I've never noticed a diff in comfort, but with lower pressure my coasts feel like there is honey on the road's surface.

Oooo, this I'd like to see. What kind of camera are you going to use? My current method of recording (webcam+laptop) is now obsolete because of the battery's age - only 20-30 minutes of juice

I do record (sometimes) my driving. I use old Fuji camera mounted to the headrest of passenger seat. Works great

Coasts are longer as measured by the bottom-o-meter, and my averages for my commute today are +5 MPG.

Helga rides hard anyway, and the "peeled from a roll" tyres don't improve things. TBH the handling is better in the dry, I'm waiting for some serious damp to see what effect it will have there.

I meant to post a video today but the camera decided not to run, I shall try again tomorrow and get some pics of the mounting and the camera...

Some editing is always a must
Good luck, I have 1GB and 2GB memory card. Each 1GB allows me to record 15 min in 640x320 (if memory serves me well) resolution. Also sometimes I'm using photo filters like Gray or Polarized for better quality.
