Launch abort at T-16 due to weather.

Too nice of a day to waste it in space?

#benefitsofcovid?

... I wonder why we chose FL to launch stuff considering the volatility of the weather. There's land further south than the Cape in Texas, though I'm not sure the Gulf of Mexico presents any better weather for launching.

San Diego is a bit further north, but perhaps the benefits could outweigh the increase in latitude?

Jules Verne figured it out, lots of water downrange. I want a black cap like the ground support personnel were wearing.

redneck — the quantum dot tattoo is so important it needs redundancy. Maybe one on the left wrist and one on the forehead?

...'it's going to be Biblical'.

Ah, that's an obvious reason. Was thinking proximity to emergency eject to sea was only necessary immediately after launch, not during a longer duration of burn. Didn't figure the direction of rocket launch either.

Everything in Hawaii is more expensive, but would the location be worth the hassle of shipping everything there?

...man, I thought deplaning a scrubbed takeoff was nearly unbearable. Can't complain after a scrubbed orbital launch.

This one is only seven minutes, but it's in Italian [with subtitles]:

*****ute.com:
ITALIAN PARLIAMENT MEMBER SARA CUNIAL CALLS FOR BILL GATES ARREST DURING COVID19 DEBATE (VIDEO)

...I guess we can't talk about that here (bit-chute)

Hah!
I don't value my privacy much, but value it for others that do.

redpoint5 was my first email address. The number is simply that 1-4 was already taken. When I began signing up for forums, it seemed natural to utilize my email handle.

I was more inspired at the time by this:

This was the whole point of the movie GATTICA. It generated practically no conversation even though it will be the most relevant topic of this century.
