I put in a bunch of time on the alt delete case yesterday. Its still not there. I don't have any plugs for input or output. But, its a heck of a lot closer. For scale, this thing is 9.4" long, 5.3" wide, and 6.1" long (not including the handle).

Put tabs on the side so you can attach a strap and carry it like a messenger bag over your shoulder.

I'm pretty inspired by this.
I have a spare Mean Well HRP-600-15 laying around I may play with to try something similar:
https://www.meanwell-web.com/en-gb/a...t-hrp--600--15
These have adjustable voltage output and run happily on a pretty wide range of either AC or DC voltage. Just a matter of figuring out how best to provide 120VDC+ or an AC power source. I imagine if I took something like an old UPS and strung some 12v batteries in parallel, the two conversions wouldn't be all that efficient but it would be quite flexible. Just connecting 11+ batteries in series to get adequate DC voltage would be better, but then I have (potentiality) a lot of weight, and high voltage DC...

43A sounds pretty nice!
Getting to 120V sounds challenging though.

I believe the input voltage can anywhere between 80 ad 170 volts

I got 3 of the 5 panels printed up. They really fit very nicely. Everything seems to be going together great and fitting well. The new circuit board shown is one of the AC power supplies that feeds the dc-dc converters for charging.
Side panels installed. That is one of the AC power supplies. There will be 5 stacked in there.
Its designed to allow for airflow as well as route wires below the power supplies.
Added the rear plate.

Thanks Teoman. I appreciate all the feedback!
I also just threw everything on a scale to see about what it'll end up weighing. Rough guess is around 8 lbs. Not too bad. The battery pack section is about 5 lbs of that.
