Small 'f', just a pet peeve.
I may have peaked at some point. Try ecomodder.com/forum/member-freebeard-albums-photoshops or ecomodder.com/forum/member-freebeard-albums-my+cars
Some examples:
The air curtain picture was all i could salvage from a system crash. That's as far as it went. This is me before Ecomodder (the model is now 30+ years old).
I wanted to scoop up the underbody air and make a rooster tail of it ... for downforce.

freebeard, noted.
Large upsweep at the rear with the wheel setup like that is just oozing cool. Would you have employed a diffuser with strakes? I love the look of them. Big monstrous rear end. Here’s a hill-climb EG hatch that I really love. No wing, as that massive upsweep on the diffuser is great for downforce.

I'd compare it more to the Chaparral 2J race car.
https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsp...rrals/?slide=5
IIRC it was supposed to have a fan driven off the generator/cooling fan. Except the exhaust was angled up instead of straight back. There'd have been a VW motor where that diffuser is.
After Ecomodder:

The vacuum cleaner car! Wonderful idea that made amazing ground-effect…then banned. Such a shame. I get what you mean.
I like those designs. Which will you be shooting for? Is there a reason for the rear fender bulges trailing off straight with no downward slant?

It's coming back with the Gordon Murray T.50 https://gordonmurrayautomotive.com/cars/t50
www.carscoops.com/2019/12/Gordon Murray T.50: McLaren F1 Successor’s Rear Fan Looks Like A Sci-Fi Thruster
It's used to modulate the roof of the diffuser.

I need to move on to the Metro XFi. I do have a set of Moon disks that, if I cut them down from 15" to 13" diameter, would fit. I need the tooling to roll a new lip on the cut-down pieces. Maybe 3D printed curved jaws for a Vise-Grip plier? And a Dish antenna that would make two fender skirts but the lip rolls the wrong way.
Those rear fenders were down to the software I was using at the time. I couldn't even merge the add-ons to the base vehicle.
My aspiration is to own an Arcimoto FUV when they get the production up and price down to $10-12K. Then add an aluminum 30s-style Zepplin body to it.

Cool. The Arcimoto is something similar to one of my future plans. Two seater electric velomobile with styling based on vintage formula “cigar” cars. Have photos but too lazy to post. I think tandem seating could end up being really fun and interesting. Interesting thing with such a skinny vehicle is that it’s so easy to avoid creating lift, due to low surface area in plan view (I think).
Back to topic of my car! I’ve been needing some rims and tires for the summer. I’ve found some 14” integra alloys for $280 CAD with all-season tires in good condition. Would these be a good thing to purchase? I’ve been wanting alloys as they handle better. Aero is no good, but I could easily make some covers for them. I’m aware of smaller wheels and skinnier tires being better, but nothing like that is available local to me. These are the same or close to the stock steelies.

Should I?

The price sounds reasonable. Putting Moon disks on alloy wheels seems to be a problem.
Back when Arcimoto was just starting out I posted this about the Messerschmitt KR-200: ecomodder.com/forum/showthread: Messerschmitt
edit: Just A Car Guy posted this today. Like this except with two pontoons moved forward and bigger windows.

The Messerschmitt looks to be the same as a velomobile somebody made. Don’t have a pic, but it was just like that, with pedals. Beyond that, there is one that is actually quite similar to your idea:
https://newatlas.com/veloschmitt-195...m=article-body
https://newatlas.com/messerschmitt-k...omobile/59719/
I’d be worried about height of a vehicle like the FUV, but I’m sure it handles just fine. I hope to have a ped/elec two seater of my own someday, and I’d rather shoot for something like Mclaren’s LCC Rocket. In terms of trikes, I really like the 80’s VW Scooter concept.
That bottom vehicle would bewonderful for creating false UFO reports. I really like the shape, but agree on more glass being a good idea.

Back to my rims. I can pay $240 CAD for some nice 5-spoke alloys (probably lighter) that are close to my car’s stock rims, with some pretty aged tires from 2012. That would be 195/60/r14. $240 for rims and rather old tires.
Alternatively, I can get some free alloys from my buddy with a junked integra. 15x6 rims, so I could presumably get some 175/45/r15 tires. An inch more of diameter, but the tire width is skinnier, and the height shorter. Free rims, no tires.
Edit: New option! Free steelies. 175/80r13 brand new tires on a steel rim. An inch below stock diameter. Not alloys though.
No real idea how rolling resistance works. Hence why I’m asking. Reading up on it right now myself, of course.

Rolling resistance isn't the whole story, you live or die on the contact patch.. The [three or] four contact patches are complex. Weight vs area. Theoretical friction is independent of the weight, but any drag racer knows better. Wide tires corner better, tall tires have a longer contact patch.
hecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/bridgestone-announces-large-diameter-narrow-tires
BMW i3 tires at ~26.5" diameter will take a 19" wheel. Examples would be 1947 MG-TC and 1928-31 Model A Ford. How many lugs on what PCI circle do you have?

Single-wheel drive tricycles suck are suboptimal. Here're the Blackjack kit cars, the 2CV-based Avion on the left and VW-based Zero on the right. Each with Moto-Guzz V-twins.
I like the FUV's ride height. Something like the T-Rex (or one of those Blackjacks) is so low it needs a orange triangle whip flag for visibility. The CG is very low, the Roadster's even lower.
edit:
The was a company in the UK that replicated a number of old microcar bodies. They're apparently gone and I don't recall the name. A search here might turn it up (to no point).
