Playing the damsel in distress card? Do you do that often?

It is 0845, I just woke up, and my brother is still sleeping on the couch. I hear his whole family is weird!

I will take care of it once the little guy is up. I do not want to disturb him.

Attachment and operation

New dash arrangement, part two. i added two coats of matte clearcoat to the black to dull the semi-gloss and help blend into the interior better.

But my fav part is that both devices can be simply lifted off. And the Ultra Gauge bottons on the back of the device can be operated by pushing on the corners on the gauge face's frame.

Basic look:

UG attached with neodymium magnets and a used cellphone holder, screws contact buttons on back of the gauge:

Pressing fram to activate screen change:

Removing iPhone 5 bluetooth music device. Bracket made with used commercial refrigerator magnet, cut in half, and a cut portion of a used iPhone 5 case:

So the screwheads contact the little black buttons and it bears on the swivelhead [rot 90]? That's pretty sweet.

Okay okay! You don't need to keep asking nicely!

Let me know if you need a different angle or something.

I tried enhancing the picture. I will just redo it.

That's not the right numbers, unfortunately. Here is a short video locating it. Your code is probably something like P2J-5. I think it is just to the right of the 4 squares you got in this picture. Thank you twice for trying again:

I guess that I had my phone a little too close. I was trying to manually zoom.

It definitely looks like a 6 to me. Swapping the head seems like far too much work for the previous owners.

Funny how I replaced the head gasket and heater core, but I haven't taken care of small things.

Progress

Cardboard template is mostly done. It has a "Manta Ray" Stingray kinda shape that I like, though the main purpose was to adopt the radii of the tail light fixtures into the corners. You can see in the picks a mirroring-echo of the light fixture in the side plates of the spoiler immediately adjacent to them. No more time for this today. Work and home projects gotta take precedence while I wait for my jigsaw to cut the 3mm polymetal stuff.

EDIT: more like a Stingray:

Decklid spoiler progress

Practicing with the jigsaw tonight after dinner, I made a quick replacement for my upper grillblock. The old one is black plastic, and the new one is white AlumaCore (3mm), which is two thin sheets of aluminium around a layer of thermoplastic. Never worked with AlumaCore before. Have never used a jigsaw before. The tight curves were too tight. Fortunately when I do the rear decklid spoiler there will be no curves as tight as this. Anyway, a hacksaw and a metal file and boxcutter cleaned it all up nicely.

Whaddaya think?
